For me Monday is really the new Sunday. There's just so many things to do on a Sunday that some of it are carried over on a Monday. It does not sound like a day of rest anymore because most of the Sunday obligations seem like work already so the things you do just to enjoy are better off done on a Monday. The best day to work out is a Monday also. We need to be 100% relaxed when we work out or do yoga so I guess Sunday is a bad day because it's also "in laws" day. Or maybe that's just me. If I am going to exercise, it had to be on a Monday.

Monday will always be my favorite day. I feel everyone is accustomed to the usual Monday to Friday work week so everything else that is technically not part of work is scheduled on Sundays. Sunday which is supposed to be for family is very limited. You can't squeeze all the things you needed to do on a Sunday so usually, for other activities which you most likely love and that does not feel like an obligation, it is carried over on a Monday. The party venues are also not very crowded because everyone is expected to work. I like being intimate with whoever I was with so I really love Mondays.
